The biannual SKASE Journal of Theoretical Linguistics is published by the Slovak Association for the Study of English (SKASE) as an electronic, free-access journal. All articles are anonymously reviewed by external peer-reviewers.
SCOPE: Synchronic research into phonology, inflectional morphology, word-formation, lexical semantics, syntax, psycholinguistics, cognitive linguistics, sociolinguistics, corpus linguistics, discourse analysis, and other areas of linguistic research including interdisciplinary research projects.
The SKASE Journal of Theoretical Linguistics is currently indexed in WEB OF SCIENCE (Emerging Sources Citation Index), SCOPUS, ERIH PLUS, EBSCO OPEN ACCESS JOURNALS, LUND UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES, NORWEGIAN SCIENTIFIC INDEX.
An article shall be submitted to the respective editor in an electronic form as an e-mail attachment. Preferably, articles should be written in the WORD editor. The articles shall be written in English in accordance with the Style Sheet. Any failure to comply with the instructions provided in the Style Sheet may result in rejecting the article. The author is responsible for the grammatical correctness of the text. All submissions are evaluated exclusively by an external peer-review procedure. Each peer-reviewer is expected to evaluate a paper within two months, allowing for unpredictable delays. If a paper is accepted, its author(s) will receive an evaluation in an electronic way. The author(s) will be expected to revise the paper in accordance with any and all comments and recommendations.
