- The Slovak Association for the Study of English, as a national
member of ESSE, is a
society of researchers and teachers of English languages, literatures
in English, cultures and area studies of English-speaking people in
Slovakia. It endeavours to promote research and teaching in the field
by facilitating intellectual co-operation and the exchange of ideas
and experience in English studies across Slovakia and by promoting
international co-operation under the auspices of ESSE.
